To participate in the Consumer Directed Services (CDS) program, individuals must meet several eligibility requirements. Applicants must qualify for MO HealthNet, be at least 18 years of age, and have a physical disability or a qualifying mental health condition. In addition, participants must be capable of directing their own care and services. It is also necessary to have a trusted individual—such as a family member or friend—who is willing and able to serve as their caregiver.
